It has been on my heart for a while to start a blog for our family. I am a 'journaler' at my core...I process best when I can write out what is going on, but with 4 kids in 4 years, my journaling days have been mostly a thing of the past the last 9 years. I think the last time I journaled regularly was right before Jonah was born in 2004. It pains me that I have not kept a detailed record of all the Gunnink goings on these last years, but it is never too late to start. And now that we are nearly a year into our adoption process, I really want our next child (or children) to know all about us and how we all became a family.
So, here we go...I pray this blog is a very special way for me to release from my heart all that is in there about my life, my family, our successes, our failures, our hopes and dreams...all that make us the family we are.
